This date will forever be celebrated in my memory!
A year ago God really put a teenage girl I know (who didnt know God) on my heart, and I couldnt help but pray for her, He gave me such compassion for her which would sometimes move me to tears. I prayed for her frequently and really built up relationship with her, God gave me such faith for her, and I somehow KNEW one day she would become a Christian, this was a very exciting thought and really motivated me to cry out for her, and I would imagine her being at church etc. As the months passed, she began to ask questions, and we had some great conversations about God’s love and the gospel, and she was so interested, often coming up to me and telling me about how she defended God in her philosophy class! She also loved stories of healings, and had loads of faith for it herself and often asks me to ‘make the pain go away’, which it has on the couple of occasions i have commanded it to there and then.
I have invited her to events and youth on numerous occasions over the months, and a month or so ago she came to a youth event at Church.
Not a lot seemed to come of it, but a couple of weeks ago some other youth started coming to Alpha, with almost no work from me at all, which renewed my excitment for this girl, so i started pushing through again, praying everyday! After a convo with her last week, she said she wanted to come to youth, but ended up being too scared as she didnt really know anyone.
I told some of the youth at church, and they started praying too. I told her this week that they were praying, and she was really touched and said she wished she was a Christian!! She said this again later in the week, got a bible out of the library to read, and was texting the girls at church loads!
She went to the youth group in the eve (18th) and after the talk everyone got into groups to pray, and the leader in her group asked if she wanted to accept Jesus into her life…and she said YES!!
After they prayed, she was crying but really happy, and the leader explained about the Holy Spirit and asked if she wanted to experience him, and she did!!
She then talked about a girl at school who she thinks needs God, and she will invite her along! She went home, eager to read her bible, and is coming to church tomorrow and Alpha on tues!!
WHAT A FAITHFUL GOD!!
LOVE THAT WE GET TO CO INHERIT!!

At church last night in the singing worship time, I asked God for a word of knowledge for someone in the room, and I felt “right shoulder” and stabbing, “razor-like pain”. Also felt it was something to do with a car accident maybe. So I went up the front and shared this with the church. Afterwards a lady came up with pain in her right shoulder, that had got worse in the past couple of days, so I prayed for her briefly and commanded the pain to leave. I asked her to test it out, and she said that she couldn’t feel any pain anymore!! Woop woop!!

1/4/12 (but not an april fool)
Last week, a non christian teen mentioned that she had a headache, so i briefly put my hand on her arm and said pain go away…and it did!! She went away pleased and suprised!
Today, in the youth group, i was leading the morning, and whilst preparing felt very much to do words of knowledge for healing, which is not something that they have done before at all! So i briefly explained it to them, and within a min 5 of them had words, and a couple others chipped in too. We prayed for one youth with a heart problem who wasnt there, and one with a brain tumour, as both of those words were brought by 2 diff young people. And we also prayed for a boy who has a problem with his ligament in his leg, that is all stretched and twisted. The youth got around and commanded pain to go and then he found some stairs so that he could check it out…. and said that there was no pain when there normally would be!!! Woop woop!!

At the staff prayer meeting on monday, one of my colleagues prayed that we would get prophetic words for students in school…
so when i was praying for one of the girls (on my own-not with her) this week, I felt God give me a pic/word for her. I explained it to her, and she said that it made sense, and it opened up a convo about her past etc and how she is feeling, and she was so vulnerable, it was excellent!! Come on God, bring her into Your kingdom!!

So, at church we had an INCREDIBLE baptism service, with 8 or 9 people responding just in the evening!! The preach was so so good!!
Afterwards, I was chatting with my friend, and she asked if I had any painkillers. I put my hand on her head and said (half joking) “pain go in Jesus’ name”. I then asked her if she had a headache (not to see if she was healed as I wasn’t expecting that, but to find out why she wanted the painkillers). She paused, and then looked very concentrated, and said “no” looking very surprised!! The pain had gone. I was very pleased and surprised, and asked her if she was sure, and she said there was a tiny bit left, so i prayed again (v briefly) and she tested it out, and the pain had all gone!! So cool!!
On the way home from church, I was thinking over this, and God asked me “isn’t it so much easier when it comes from a place of My presence?!” I smiled as I answered “Yes it SO is!!”

On prayer team at church,
my friend came up to me and asked me to pray for her as she had pain in her neck and shoulders, especially when carrying bags, and also had problems with her knees and had a cold, and decided that, instead of settling for less, she would ask God to heal her!
I prayed healing over her, and God’s Spirit obviously started to come on her, so I left her to recieve from Him. Later I asked if there was any change, adn she said that she had felt heat down her neck and left shoulder, and that pain had gone, and she had heard a pop in her knee! But there was still pain in her right shoulder, so I prayed again…and all pain left!! Happy days!!
Another friend approached me with back pain, which left after a brief prayer!

WHAT A DAY!!
So, this morning when i was praying, i was asking God that i wouldnt pass up on any opportunities, and i also felt led to daydream about how would i act differently in school if there was a revival on!
At lunch time, a student who God has really placed on my heart since May/June time and I pray for regularly, came up to me with her friend and asked how church was yesterday. I told her about the two healings we saw (see prev post), because I know she love shearing about them despite being unsure if she believes in God. She was excited, and asked if I could pray for her to be healed. I asked what for, and she looked over her body, obviously tryign to find some injury or something! She had the top of her ear pierced over the weekend, and it was causing her pain, so she asked for that. i was unsure what to do, but she kept on and on and so i got over my fear, and just commanded the pain to leave in the name of Jesus, without laying my hand on her. I asked her how it was, and she prodded it, then looked shocked, and said ‘i’m not kidding or anything but there is less pain, what the hell! Sorry miss!!’
She asked me to pray again, and to lay a hand. I told her to put her own hand on it and command the pain to go, which she did, but there was no change so she asked me to again, i did, speaking healing over her ear etc, then asked her to check it out. She put her hair behind her ear, and then, suprised, told me that she had been wincing each time she had done that during the morning, but it was ok now!! She and her friend were both very excited, and seem up for coming to church on sunday…
which is amazing as last week i daydreamed that next sunday her and a few friends would coem to church for the first time, in time for the alpha course startign hte tuesday after…
watch this space, and please pray that she does come!!!

Went for a walk down to the beach, but stopped to say hi to a homeless man and his beautiful dog enroute. I ended up sitting down chatting with him, and dog, for ages, just listening to him and affirming him, he was so lovely, and i really experienced compassion for him. I asked if i could pray for him, and he told me that he has epilepsy seizures every night as he sleeps that wake him up, and was very up for me praying for him. So i did, and blessed him. I genuinely want to see him again, and see how he is doing… so watch this space!!
Also, at church, i prayed for a few people, one of which was a lady who was experiencing pain all down her left arm, from shoulder to hand, and had been for a couple of weeks. She is due to see the phsyio this week. She came up with her little girl so i prayed lovingly, simply and briefly telling the pain to go. i checked on her, and she said that she felt heat down her arm, and almost no pain, just in her shoulder. so i prayed again, and this time there was no pain, although she didnt seem very excited by it, just stated it!! I asked her to come and tell me next week how she is doing, so watch this space for that too…!

At church tonight, the prayer meeting before the service was full of expectancy…
After the sermon, during worship, a friend of mine came down for prayer- she had injured her right hand by pulling a muscle, which resulted in her being unable to open jars of food for her children, and pain in lifting her younger child. We prayed, and almost immediately asked her to check it out. Most of the pain had gone! so we prayed briefly again…all pan left, and she could clench her fist!! I felt God wanted to also say some stuff to her so we prayed for her and prophesied loads of stuff, she went away fully blessed!!
Someone at the front had a word about a wrist, and a girl responded and went up to a friend of mine for prayer. He felt God saying not to use loads of words, but just command healing and check it out…he did, and she said she thought the pain had gone, so he encouraged her to remove the wrist cast, and she did…and there was mobility and no pain at all!!!
COME ON GOD!!
